The Fairmont Banff Springs was designed and built in 1888 with a style reminiscent of a stately 19th century Scottish baronial castle. Set in the heart of the spectacular Canadian Rocky Mountains, Banff Springs has easy access to Johnston Canyon, Banff Upper Hot Springs and many other natural wonders. Services and amenities available at the hotel include health club/European-style Spa (charges apply), two pools, whirlpool, bowling center, shops and boutiques, grocery store, multilingual staff, Special Needs accommodations (limited), and childcare (with advanced booking - charges apply). Complimentary shuttles to the ski areas are provided with full-day lift ticket purchase. There is easy access to winter hiking, as well as to great international restaurants and shopping.

Parking Information
Self-parking and valet parking at Fairmont Banff Springs areavailable for a fee. Complimentary charging available for electric vehicles.
Non-guests will be able to park for a fee. Roam Transit has regularly scheduled buses that services the town of Banff Springs.
Food & DininginBanff
The food included will be:
- a buffet breakfast each day of the meeting except departure day
- coffee breaks
- Social Hour with light snacks during poster sessions
The food offered varies by site. Make sure to bring your own (or buy onsite) snacks for in between meals. Menus of the daily food offered, as well as menus for area restaurants, when available, will be posted on-site. Social Hour is provided in order to give attendees an opportunity to socialize, enjoy a light snack and participate in the poster session. Limited seating is available.

Please be aware that this conference will take place at an elevation well above sea level!

Skiing

Please book at least 72 hours, before your arrival, in order for your lift tickets to be delivered to yourhotel. There is a 3-day booking window for all products. Rentals
Chateau Mountain Sportsoffers Keystone Symposia attendees a 10% discount on all rentals and gets you to the ski hill early by offering to fit you for your gear the night before! Attendees must present valid Keystone Symposia ID Badge in order to receive the discount on site but advance reservations are recommended. When making an advanced reservation you can mention you are a Keystone Symposia attendee in the comments field, however, payment is taken in store, so that is the best time to mention Keystone.

Fairmont Banff Springs - Willow Stream Spa, 403-762-1772, offers a wide variety of spa and treatment services for guests. Facilities include access to steam, sauna and inhalation rooms, mineral and whirlpools, lap pool, outdoor heated pool and locker facilities.

Located onsite at the Fairmont Banff Springs, Bowl Valley is a 5-pin bowling alley complete with full licensed bar. Prices start at CAD $89 per lane, per hour for up to 7 guests and include sho*rental. In-house guests receive a 20% discount for bowling rates. Reservations are required and can be made here.
Hotel History Walking Tour and More
Learn about the beginnings of Banff National Park, and the Banff Springs Hotel. This 30-minute tour is led by a Fairmont guide and will take you through a brief but fascinating history of the area. Registration is required. Guests of the Fairmont will be alerted through email, shortly before arrival with instructions on registering for any of the hotel activities/tours. Additional programs include crafts, paint & sip, treasure hunt, bingo, geocaching, trivia and much more.
